Narendra Taneja is India's leadig expert on energy. He is also a politician and serves as National Spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party, the country's governing party.
He is well-known for his deep passion for all matters pertaining to India's energy sector. He has written a huge body of articles and commentaries on oil and gas, renweables, coal, hydropower, nuclear and future energy. He has authored two books, including "Mantras for A Golden India". Taneja is widely cited as India's best expert on energy policy, geopolitics, diplomacy and energy security.
He earned his first university degree from St John's College Agra in India. He later moved to Europe to complete his education. Taneja read economics, business, diplomacy, international affairs and leadership at various universities there. He began his career as a journalist in Europe and later served as South Asia Bureau Chief for a number of prestigious European business publications.
Narendra Taneja heads several committees on energy and other associated subjects in India and overseas.
